Whаt should the essaу include?
1. A strong thesis.
2. A clear and comрelling introduction that lets your reader know what you will be arguing
about the film.
3. A body that covers a number of different asрects of the films in relation to your central
argument. Each section of the body should include a concrete piece of textual evidence
and explicitly link that evidence to your central argument.
4. A conclusion that sums up your argument and, perhaps, suggests other aspects of the film
that you did not have space to cover.
5. Textual evidence (including description of narrative, character, mise-en-scene,
cinematography, and editing).
6. Proper terminology.
